Ryder decided a few weeks before school he wanted to play football instead of cross country at Piner! He has never plaid, but we decided he would hold it against us if we didn't give him a chance. He started practices and actually had a really good time, and had some friends on the team. Before the first scrimmage, one teammate got a broken leg in practice and another a broken foot. Fortunately, he decided with no experience he may be more likely to get a serious injury that could ruin his entire season, she this couple weeks of practices was it. He is back on cross country!
